Tell us what the job is and roughly where it is. For a small job we can often price it on the phone; for anything bigger we will come out, look properly and give you a written price - anywhere in Auckland.
How to Reach Us
The quickest way is to ring. 021 274 4482, seven days a week, 7am to 7pm. If we are up a ladder we will not always answer straight away, so leave a message with your name, the suburb and what the job is, and we will call back.
If it is not urgent, the form further down this page is the better option - it gets us the details we need to be useful, so the first call back is a conversation rather than twenty questions.

If Something Is Wrong Right Now
Ring, do not email. 021 274 4482. If anything is sparking, smoking or smells hot, switch it off at the switchboard if you can do so safely, and call. If a breaker or RCD keeps tripping, leave it off and call rather than resetting it again and again - it is tripping for a reason.
What Helps Us Give You a Useful Answer
None of this is required, and every bit of it makes the first conversation better:
- The address, or at least the suburb. It tells us the likely age of the house and how far away you are.
- What the job is. A new build, a switchboard, solar, a heat pump, a new kitchen, a fault, or a list of small things.
- A photo of the switchboard with the cover on, if the job is anything to do with power. It tells us more than a paragraph.
- Home or business, and whether the work has to happen outside certain hours.
- Any timing you are working to - a build programme, a move-in date, a tenancy starting.

The switchboard, the wiring and the access, so the quote is the price and not an estimate that grows.

The work is done and signed off
Tidy work, a clean site, and the Certificate of Compliance or Electrical Safety Certificate for the job. Then it is entirely up to you.
Before You Get in Touch
How quickly can you come out?
For a quote, usually within a few days. For a fault - no power, a tripping board, something hot - as fast as we can, so ring rather than emailing and tell us what is happening. We are open seven days.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
For a lot of smaller jobs, yes - a new power point, a light fitting, a smoke alarm. For a switchboard, solar, a heat pump or a renovation we need to see the house first, because the things that decide the price are the things you cannot see from the street.
Do you work weekends and evenings?
Yes. Seven days, 7am to 7pm. For commercial work that has to happen outside your trading hours, tell us when you first get in touch and we will programme it to suit.
Do you cover my part of Auckland?
Almost certainly. We are in Mount Eden and we work the whole city - see the areas we cover. If you are on the edge of Auckland, ring anyway.
